Winery Review: Apothic Cab offers the big presence of a classic Cab with a silky touch. Signature layers of blackberry compote and black currant wrap around hints of mocha and vanilla. Blending the wine with Zinfandel delivers the complexity of Cabernet with billowy tannins that glide across the palate, smooth as silk.

My Review: I do not know what I was expecting because this is my very first time trying wine. However, I did find it much smoother than I anticipated. I was enjoyed to see the wine contained blackberry notes as that is what I really enjoyed. I am a big enjoyer of anything with a tart flavor to it. I did not taste the vanilla but overall agree that it was rich in flavor and smooth to consume.

Wine Folly: My Textbook of Wine Folly has not came in yet but I will re-edit this when the time comes.
