Winery Review: This rich, supple wine bursts with blackberry and dark cherries with hints of spice followed by lush, rounded tannins and a lingering finish.
Wine Folly: No information on red blends, so I am adding in the information on Malbec. "Argentina's most important variety came by the way of France, where its commonly called Cot. Wines are loved for their bold fruit flavors and smooth chocolaty finish. Unlike Cabernet, Malbec doesn't have a long finish, making it a great choice with leaner red meats and does wonders with melted blue cheese." Page - 125
My Review: This is a decent red wine. I find that red blends make great table wines and this one is no exception. It's dry without being too dry and pairs well with food. It's also affordable without making you look cheap. I would definitely buy this wine as a hostess gift or for a dinner with friends.
